Inner Thigh Liposuction

We women put a lot of energy, and thought into our inner thighs.

The trouble is that we have competing realities.

There is the reality of expectation. The perfect Western woman is supposed to have sexy inner thighs that don't touch and don't have any cellulite...

The clash comes about because very few of us actually look that way; the expectation is a bit out of reach for most of us.

Or is it?

Is there a way to improve the look of our inner thighs despite our genetics, or lifestyle; helping them to come closer to the ideal?

Liposuction to the rescue!

Liposuction is the surgical removal of superficial fat by means of a suctioning device.

During surgery incisions are made throughout the treatment area. A numbing solution is injected into the incisions to completely fill up the space underneath the skin until the area is firm and tight with fluid. Next, a device called a "cannulae" (a narrow wand-like device) is used to suck both the fluid and fat out of the area. This is where the skill and artistry of the surgeons becomes so important.

The physician will contour the area so that it is not only reduced – but symmetrical and shapely as well.

Realistic Expectations:

Inner thigh liposuction is a surgery that is good for people who are already close to their ideal weight.

Sooo....

If you are someone who is obese with massive thighs, AND you want to have the thighs of a fashion model... thigh lipo is NOT going to meet with your expectations. NOW if you are an obese individual who wants to be more proportional in the thigh area – AND perhaps say – you just want fit your clothes better, then your expectations are more reasonable.

Liposuction cannot make a fat person skinny...

Only diet, exercise and lifestyle change can accomplish that. Also lipo cannot make a skinny person perfect. So, if you are someone who thinks they are going to get a completely different anatomy, then you are mistaken.

What about cellulite... can lipo suck out the "cottage cheese"?

If what you mean by "cottage cheese" is that wavy, bumpy fat just underneath the skin – liposuction cannot change that.

Cellulite is a normal occurrence of fat on the lower body of most adult women.

In fact, more than 95% of women over the age of 30 develop it. Fluctuating hormones, pregnancy, aging, and weight gain all contribute to the prevalence of cellulite on our butts, hips and thighs. The unfortunate part is that cellulite can be resistant to treatment. One of the best solutions for cellulite is to maintain your weight, or to lose it if you've gained too much over the years. But even that strategy cannot take care of everyone's cellulite.

Unfortunately liposuction surgery isn't a magic cure.

In some instances liposuction may even make the appearance of cellulite worse, because some of the volume is being removed underneath the cellulite. So, the bumpy, pitted appearance of the fat may increase after surgery.

Our advice is to be prepared to live with it or don't get the liposuction.

What is the take-home here?

Inner thigh liposuction works well to fine-tune diminish the fat on our inner thighs. Liposuction cannot make you a different person.

Be sure to have realistic expectations.

And don't be afraid to sweat a little and change your eating habits to see what can be achieved without liposuction. If anything it will just make your surgery look better afterwards.
