When most folks think of liposuction – stomach liposuction is actually what they are thinking of. This is one of the most common liposuction areas. Stomach liposuction actually refers to the superficial fatty layers that cover the upper, mid or lower abdominal region. Surgeons that perform more procedures will be better prepared to deal with contingencies and the occasional surprise should they arise. Think of stomach liposuction as major surgery. Your health and safety are the most important considerations.

This can actually be a deceptive factor. Surgeons abroad often charge less for their services than physicians in the States. BUUUT there are some hidden considerations and costs with using foreign doctors.

Travel and lodging and convalescence in another country has to be calculated into the overall cost of the procedure. On further analysis you may realize that in-country and out-of-country liposuctions costs are actually comparable.

Finally, when considering an emerging country for your liposuction surgery, you've got to be even more diligent to educate yourself prior to surgery. Should something go very wrong with your surgery your consumer and legal protections may be nonexistent.
